I don’t know. I could be wrong but I don’t
think ponchos ever go out of style. Especially for little girls.

you have completed all your squares, you can begin to join them as shown in the

Handmade and Cozy – Ponchos Never Go Out of Style
I don’t know. I could be wrong but I don’t
think ponchos ever go out of style. Especially for little girls.
To purchase this pattern please go to my Etsy Shop, https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/519003950/daisy-granny-square-poncho-womes-poncho?ref=shop_home_feat_3
I remember wearing a poncho when I was a kid.
For me, it was the fringe that made it fabulous.
And my daughters loved the ponchos that I
made for them - in their favorite colors of course.
Now, one of my granddaughters has a poncho
and the other two really want one.
Granny Square Layout
You
will need:
- Three shades of your favorite color - a dark, medium and light tone.
- Crochet Hook – size 3.5mm
Make:
- 8 Daisy Granny Squares in Dark Purple.
- 16 Daisy Granny Squares in Medium Purple
- 24 Daisy Granny Squares in Light Purple
The
next step is to add a border. I used the traditional Granny Square Stitch in
light purple.
Now
add the fringe in light purple.
Lastly,
I added two rows of single stitches to the neck opening. If you find the
opening too big, you can always add more rows.
